Tender Winners to Renovate 41 Historic Houses and Rosha Park in Abastumani

The tenders for the second stage of the Abastumani renovation of the resort will be announced by the end of the summer.

The Municipal Development Fund is announcing the renovation of 41 historic houses and the Central Park Rosha to the resort.

Rehabilitation of 18 historic houses at the highland resort has already been completed, the old ropeway has also been restored and the infrastructure of the observatory has been upgraded.

Water infrastructure will be developed, paths and roads will be upgraded.

As Davit Tabidze, Deputy Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund, told Business Partner, it will take about 1.5-2 years for the resort to be fully renovated.

According to Davit Tabidze, one of the priorities of the fund is the Urban Renewal Program.

"The programs include the re-creation of the entire infrastructure, it is not only the rehabilitation of the facades, but the regulation of all engineering communications in these areas. We have such a program in Telavi, Mestia, we are implementing the renovation of the central district and park of Gori and we are continuing the projects in Abastumani, ”said Davit Tabidze.
