Studies are Underway for the Construction of an Artificial Island in Batumi
"Ambassador Group" started the geological exploration of the seabed to start the construction of an artificial island in Batumi. After the completion of the research, work on the construction and development regulation plan for the project "Ambassador Batumi Island" will begin.
"Ambassador Batumi Island" is the largest investment project in the region and creates two artificial peninsulas and one island in the 2.5X1.5 km coastal area of Bartskhana and Tamar settlements in the Batumi seaside area.
The project will cover public beaches, active and passive recreation areas, aqua parks, promenades, seaside boulevards, yacht clubs, educational institutions, shopping malls, hotels, and residential buildings.
Internationally recognized experts will work on the project, shore protection works, and the development and protection of safety standards.
According to the Ambassador Group, Zemin Teknik, the winner of the international tender commissioned by "Ambassador Batumi Island", is currently conducting a geological survey of the seabed to start the construction of an artificial island in Batumi.
The concept envisages attracting large-scale investments and expanding the administrative boundaries of Batumi, which means unloading from the existing development of the city and strengthening its coastline.
