Ryanair Plans to Return to the Georgian Market in 2023

Irish low-cost airline Ryanair plans to return to Georgia in 2023.

"I can say that 2022 was verya active for us, for passengers and, of course, for airports. It was a very productive year and hopefully 2023 will be even better. From the groups we provide services to, the only airline that did not return to the Georgian market was Ryanair, but as far as I know, it has plans to return next year," Teimuraz Buzaladze, the founder of Discovery, a representative of various airlines in Georgia, said in a conversation with journalists.

In addition, according to Buzaladze, the rest of the airlines increased the existing frequencies in 2019 in 2022.

"And for the rest, the frequency they had in 2019 will be higher in 2022. For example, Saudi Arabian airlines did not fly to Georgia in winter, but this year they continue to fly. They are very satisfied", says Buzaladze.
