Railway Connecting Kutaisi Airport to Receive Passengers from January

According to the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, the construction of the railway station connecting the Davit Agmashenebeli Kutaisi International Airport has been completed and it will receive passengers from January.

The project to connect Kutaisi International Airport and Railway Transport named after David Agmashenebeli was announced in 2016, when Giorgi Kvirikashvili was the Prime Minister, but it has not been implemented yet.

In particular, all passenger trains were to stop at Kutaisi International Airport, a few steps from the terminal, via the new railway.
