Prometheus Epic Hotel & Spa: Tskaltubo Renovation Program will Revive the Place

Giorgi Gulua, reservations manager of Prometheus Epic Hotel & Spa, located in Tskaltubo, in the village of Kvilishori, tells about the busyness of Tskaltubo during the summer tourist season.

As he notes, Tskaltubo is seasonal, unlike other cities of Imereti, therefore, hotels are busy from June to September, and from the end of October to the next season, the city is hardly visited by vacationers.

As for the Prometheus Epic Hotel & Spa, 80% of the hotel is occupied, and the majority of guests come from Arab countries.

The representative of the hotel assumes that the Tskaltubo renovation plan announced by the government will revive the party.

"Tskaltubo is completely seasonal. June-September has a good workload. There are days when there are no more rooms for rent in the hotel. From the end of October to the second season, the fall will begin. The occupancy rate of our hotel is 80% during the season. Vacationers from Arab countries predominate among tourists. Tskaltubo hotels are mainly booked by travel companies, we do not have bookings from individual sites such as booking.com. Locals are among the tourists.

Tskaltubo has excellent potential in terms of tourism. The niche of this site is treatment-spa destinations. I think the Tskaltubo renovation program will revive the place, it will create a center of attraction. "Unfortunately, awareness is less at the moment," he says at Bm.ge.

3 million GEL was invested to open Prometheus Epic Hotel & Spa in Tskaltubo. The hotel combines a 26-room hotel, a wine museum, a restaurant, two types of pools, a jacuzzi, and a sauna. The complex employs 60 people in the region.
