New Tourist Destination will be Added to Mountainous Adjara

Chirukhi Mountain is the new tourist destination and work has already started on its development.

Tourism Product Development Agency of the Department of Tourism plans to create a new tourist attraction center in the Shuakhevi municipality.

The chairman of the tourism department of Adjara held the first working meeting with the representatives of the Ministry of Finances and Economy of Adjara. They discussed the matters of tourist potentials and product development concepts.

At this stage, the concept of tourism development of Chirukhi Mountain is being developed, after which the infrastructure project, as well as its management plan, will be prepared.

Chirukhi mountain is located at 2050 meters above sea level, from where the astounding views of the small lakes can be seen. The mountain is connected to different tourist trails.
