New Hotel ''Monarch'' Opened in Batumi with ₾12 Million Investment
"Ins Group" opened a new 4-star hotel "Monarch" with an investment of 12 million GEL in Batumi.
The 60-room hotel operating on Melashvili Street has been hosting local and foreign vacationers for 1 month, although its official opening ceremony was held yesterday. The hotel combines a restaurant for 60 people and a conference space for 70 people.
As the founder of the company, Gia Lominadze, told BM.GE, the occupancy rate of the hotel is high and foreign visitors predominate among the guests.
"We have been receiving guests for a month and most of them are Israeli and Saudi Arabia citizens. Bookings are gradually coming in from European countries, Turkey and Russia. Visitors stay for 1 week considering the active summer season.
In a standard room for 2 people, the cost of accommodation with breakfast is 90-100 dollars in July, and from August it will reach 110 dollars,'' noted Gia Lominadze.
According to him, the hotel was opened with private investment and currently employs 30 people.
