Mziuri Gardens Restores the Famous Balneological Resort of Makhinjauri

In Makhinjauri, just a few meters from the sea, on the territory of the former sanatorium "Mziuri", a balneological resort of historical importance will soon be restored and a 60-room spa and wellness center of international standards will be built.

The British company MRMU International, which is a leading investment company in the real estate sector, is implementing the project together with "Mziuri Gardens".

Makhinjauri is a climatic, balneological resort by the sea. It is important to mention that the local population used the microclimate and subthermal-mineral water there to treat various diseases as early as the beginning of the 20th century.

The healing properties of Makhinjauri's unique microclimate, thermal and mineral waters were discovered decades ago and studied at a scientific level. Sulfuric waters have been used for health purposes since 1880.

"Mziuri Gardens" is a residential and investment project consisting of premium-class apartments, located just a few meters from the sea, on the territory of the former sanatorium, and combines residential apartments, 5* international hotel chain CROWNE PLAZA and a balneal resort. The complex is located on 15,000 sq.m., 12,000 sq.m of this includes recreational space, which is placed in the middle of perennial pines and endemic plants.

''The use of the balneological and wellness center with international standards will be available both for the residents of "Mziuri Gardens" and for any international or local visitors. Our goal is to turn Adjara, specifically Makhinjauri, into an attractive vacation location in all four seasons, and receiving visitors interested in medical tourism and balneological resort from different countries of the world plays an important role in this plan,'' said the representative of Mziuri Gardens.
