Mice Tourism and Foreign Visitors - "Lopota" Starts Marketing Campaigns

"We have started working on PR in terms of how well prepared we are to be able to operate with these restrictions,", stated Lopota Spa Resort General Manager - Andrei Vlasov with BM.GE.

He also mentioned that as soon as the government set a date for the launch of the tourism sector, the reservations were made. However, the hotel manager believes that the hotel will not be loaded properly with individual orders, therefore they are launching a marketing campaign to attract foreign tourists.

"We have only individual reservations from our traditional customers, who spend most of the summer with us. During this crisis, our infrastructural arrangement gave us a certain advantage over the open space. We have a fairly large resting area, a 200-room hotel that can’t be fully loaded just at the expense of individual tourism. Business tourism has always been very much a part of our reservations. This is the corporate direction depending on how much money the recently renewed organizations will have to spend in this direction; Also, our workload depends on the resumption of flights and the developments in the world, but I think that if the dynamics will develop positively as it does now, then by September we may not return to the results of 2019, but we'll manage to see positive results, "- explained Andrei Vlasov.

According to him, it is important for the private sector to become more active in its strategic markets.

The main marketing costs of all hotels are digital media channels, Instagram, Facebook, Google, etc. We are going to actively use these platforms. We started working on PR in terms of how well prepared we are to be able to operate with these restrictions - we will record small commercials and distribute them in our neighboring countries, as well as continue marketing campaigns in European countries, Germany, Austria. I think these are the countries Where they coped well with the epidemiological situation and that is the course we are taking.", - noted Andrei Vlasov.
