Mariam Kvrivishvili about Requirements for Tourists from Iran and India

Mariam Kvrivishvili, head of of National Tourism Administration, answers questions of private sector representatives who talk about problems that tourists from Iran and India face when entering Georgia.

„Our country remains open to citizens of those countries, who arrive for tourism purposes and satisfy all required criteria at customs checkpoints, such as corresponding documents, return air tickets, hotel bookings and confirmed financial resources. They must confirm that they are able to cover travel expenses for themselves and family members and they will face no problems at the state border.

Anyway, we have prepared written recommendations about required documents that tourists should keep when coming to Georgia. The private sector representatives stress that this option has made the process more transparent and comfortable”, Mariam Kvrivishvili said.
