Kazbegi Glamping Opened in Kazbegi with ₾ 85,000 Investment

With an investment of 85,000 GEL, a new accommodation facility "Kazbegi Glamping" was launched in Kazbegi.

Speaking to BM.GE, the owner of the facility, Giorgi Pekhmashvili, notes that the space consisting of 2 uniquely designed cottages, the same as Glamping Pods, can accommodate a total of 8 people. In the cottages, guests will find a small kitchen, all the necessary household items, well-equipped bathrooms and a cozy environment for relaxation. If desired, delivery service is provided to vacationers. When arriving at the cottage, vacationers will be able to receive remote Check In and Check Out services. The cost of accommodation in glamping is 280 GEL, which includes the booking fee.

The founder of Kazbegi Glamping points out that this project is not the first for them in the field of hospitality.

"We operate another accommodation facility a few meters away from the new facility, and we wanted to offer a different and comfortable environment for glamping guests. The demand from tourists also helped us implement this idea," says the owner of the facility.

"Kazbegi Glamping" started receiving guests on August 9, and according to the owner of the newly opened facility, both cottages are fully booked until the end of August.

"The main request to stay with us comes from Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Europe, Ukraine, Georgians and Russians, although in the latter case they are accepted only after passing a special questionnaire. The main question is whether they agree that Georgia is occupied by Russia and how they evaluate Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Because of this, we had a case of cancellation of resevatuins by the Russians", Giorgi Pekhmashvili notes.

The head of "Kazbegi Glamping" says that although the accommodation facility has only been opened for a few days, they have reservations for the month of September as well.
