International Travel Revenue in September Totaled $375,615,194

The National Administration of Tourism publishes the statistical data on incomes for the month of September.

In September, revenue from international travel exceeded 2019 figures for the third time since the pandemic totaling 375,615,194 US dollars. This number exceeds the similar indicator of 2019 by +17.9% (+56,982,269 USD).

Compared to September 2021, travel revenues have increased by USD 213,752,443 (+132.1%).

As a result of the increase in tourist flows, in the period of January-September 2022, Georgia received 2.5 billion dollars of income from international travel (tourism), which is a recovery of 97.5% of the 2019 figure.

Compared to the months of January-September 2021, travel revenues increased by +1,651,528,684 (+190.8%) US dollars.
