Hotels of Georgian Seaside Resorts See Drastic Amount of Canceled Reservations

In order to assess the impact of the pandemic on the hotel sector, a survey was conducted of the owners and operators of accommodation facilities throughout Batumi.

Both branded and non-branded hotels were interviewed. 42.9% of them got their reservations canceled by July, and 28.6% do not wait for guests until August 1.

According to the representatives of these hotels, it is possible that most of the reservations left will be canceled in the near future.

28.6% of accommodation facilities were unable to maintain any reservations.
