Government Plans to Build a New Cable Car in Gudauri

It is planned to build a 2,800-meter-long cable car in Bakuriani with the capacity of 1,800 passengers per hour.

As the Prime Minister announced at the government meeting, the snowmaking system will be installed on the two Gudauri ski tracks, which will make skiing even more comfortable for vacationers.

"We are planning to build a new cable car in Gudauri. Its capacity will be 1,800 passengers per hour, and its length will total 2,800 meters. We will also install snowmaking systems on two ski tracks in Gudauri, which will be even more comfortable for our vacationers and citizens, including in the season when there is an insufficient amount of snow,'' Irakli Gharibashvili said.
