Goderdzi Alpine Botanical Garden Opens Tomorrow

The additional tourist attraction was added to mountainous Adjara, Goderdzi Alpine Botanical Garden will be opened tomorrow.

The entry is free of charge. The best time for visiting the place is from the middle of May to October. The garden is covered with snow for the rest of the year.

Goderdzi Alpine Garden is located in Khulo, at an altitude of 1960 meters above sea level near the resort Goderdzi on the territory of Shkernali. It includes 15 zones, of which lake and swamp areas, places for a picnic, beekeeping demonstration zone are prominent tourist attractions, where visitors will be able to be acquainted with the unique tradition of wild honey.

In the garden, where a variety of plants typical of the subalpine and alpine zones are presented, picnic and camping zones are arranged for guests.
