Geosky's New Airbus H125 Arrives in Tbilisi in the Coming Days

Georgian airline Geosky continues to expand its fleet. Today, at the head office of Airbus Helicopters, the airline officially handed over a new H125 AS350 B3 modification helicopter, the production of which the company finished yesterday.

As the vice president of Geosky Shalva Kiknadze states, the helicopter will be in Georgia in a few days and will start operating.

"In the summer of this year, we purchased an Airbus H125 helicopter from Airbus, the production of which was completed yesterday, and today we will have the official delivery of this helicopter. This model is one of the most common models in the world, designed for flights in mountainous regions. Its main activity, of course, will be the transportation of passengers throughout Georgia, and it will also be used as a "medevac" and to participate in rescue operations," Shalva Kiknadze noted.

As for the technical characteristics of the helicopter: it is designed for 5 people, and it is equipped with high-power engines, which is a great advantage for the terrain of Georgia, especially for operating in mountainous regions. A similar type of helicopter is owned by Aeronavigation, Border Protection Department, and also operated by TCA airline, which it brought this year.
