Georgia's Tourist Companies Join Protests at ITB Berlin Conference

Representatives of Georgia's tourism industry, who were attending ITB Berlin, recently joined a protest against the proposed "Foreign Agents" bills in front of the Georgian Parliament.

The representatives were holding signs reading "No to Russian Law!" - a sentiment shared by many concerned about the proposed legislation.

Unfortunately, the rally was met with a heavy-handed response from police, who used water cannons and tear gas to disperse the crowd.

Despite the crackdown, protesters remain committed to opposing the proposed legislation, which they believe would have a detrimental impact on civil society and democratic values in Georgia.
