Georgian Students to Upgrade Tourism Business Qualifications in Portugal
Georgian students have the opportunity to upgrade tourism business qualifications in Portugal.
The details were specified by Deputy Economy Minster Mariam Kvrivishvili when meeting with the Tourism State Secretary of Portugal Rita Marques and the Tourism Organization President Luis Araujo.
The meeting was held in Portugal. “We are happy that Portugal has enabled Georgian students to engage in exchange programs to make acquaintance with domestic tourism sector of Portugal and upgrade their qualifications. This decision will first advance tourism business in Georgia and upgrade the service quality”, Mariam Kvrivishvili said.
At the meeting, the Parties also discussed Georgia-Portugal cooperation in tourism and civil aviation sectors. Direct flights will further deepen bilateral cooperation, the Parties noted and agreed to provide efficient support to airlines for fulfilling direct flights.
