Georgia and Turkey Deepen Cooperation in the Field of Tourism

Within the framework of the visit to Istanbul, the first deputy head of the National Tourism Administration, Tamar Koriauli, met with the representatives of the Turkey-Georgia Business Council, which is part of the "Council of Foreign Economic Relations" (DEIK) of Turkey.

The dynamics of relations between Georgia and Turkey in the field of tourism and future cooperation prospects were discussed at the meeting.

The meeting was also attended by Tinatin Zoidze, Head of Adjara Tourism Department and Valerian Gvalia, Head of Investment Policy and Investment Support Department of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.

On October 11, the first meeting of the bilateral working group of Georgia-Turkey cooperation in the field of tourism was held in Istanbul.

Within the framework of the event, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Mariam Kvrivishvili, met with the Turkish government delegation and representatives of the private sector, which was headed by the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, Nadir Alfaslan.

The working meeting was held with the involvement and co-organization of the Embassy of Georgia in Turkey.
