Georgia Among 15 Best European Destinations Ready For Vaccinated Travelers
American Forbes names the 15 best European destinations that are ready to host travelers vaccinated against coronavirus, and Georgia is among them.
As the European Commission prepares to present a project to issue a digital vaccination passport, some European Union member countries are ready to recognize the document and are implementing lighter conditions for vaccinated travelers in an effort to rescue summer tourism.
Whether in digital or paper form, the vaccine passport or proof of vaccination will be issued by the country of origin and will allow travelers to move around Europe and to come to Europe from abroad, without having to do additional Covid-19 tests or enter quarantine.
The document will state the name, date of birth, health system identification, type and date of the test and specific vaccines (date of the two doses taken), including respect for the immunization period according to the instructions for each vaccine.
The first country to start issuing Covid passports is Iceland. This country also intends to recognize Covid certificates issued by other European countries. Greece and Portugal, as well as Georgia, Sweden, Denmark, Spain and others are ready to make a similar decision. These countries will receive vaccinated travelers simplier.
The publication notes that Georgia will allow tourists from any country who have already been vaccinated without quarantine and additional testing.
As for the other 14 best European tourist destinations, where vaccinated people will be able to travel freely is the following:
Madeira, Portugal
Island of Kefalonia, Greece
Azores, Portugal
Crete, Greece

Tsavtati, Croatia
Seville, Spain
