Five of Georgia's National Parks Nominated for the 27th World Travel Awards

Five of Georgia's national parks have been nominated for the 27th World Travel Awards. By 2020, they have the chance to succeed:

- Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park
- Kolkheti National Park
-Lagodekhi National Park
-Mtirala National Park
- Kazbegi National Park

The World Travel Awards are a popular, large-scale, annual awards ceremony in the tourism sector, with winners being identified by voting. Voting for the favorite park begins on March 2 and ends on May 10. The winners will be announced on June 20.
