Europe's Longest Dual-Lane Zipline, "Eagle's Nest," Set to Soar Over Chirukhi Mountain
The Adjara Project Management Company has recently announced a tender for the construction of "Eagle's Nest," a two-lane zipline planned for Chirukhi Mountain in Shuakhevi Municipality. Once completed, this thrilling attraction will be the longest dual-lane zipline in Europe.
With an estimated budget of 9,512,716 GEL, the zipline will stretch an impressive 1,752 meters, offering riders a breathtaking panoramic view of the valley below. The top station will be situated at an altitude of 2,496 meters above sea level, ensuring an unforgettable experience for adventure-seekers.
In addition to the zipline, a visitor center will be constructed at the lower station, providing tourists with essential amenities and information.
According to the tender's terms, the project's total cost will amount to 9,512,716 GEL, and the construction must be completed no later than October 2, 2024, following the signing of the contract. The acceptance period for proposals will commence on April 28, 2023, and close on May 3, 2023.
The "Eagle's Nest" zipline is poised to become a must-visit destination for adrenaline enthusiasts, drawing tourists from across Europe and beyond.
