City Hall Plans to Rehabilitate Vera Garden and Tbilisi Dendrological Park

Tbilisi City Hall plans to design Vera Park and Tbilisi Dendrological Park, after which both parks will be rehabilitated.

Kakha Kaladze instructed Deputy Mayor Maia Bitadze to find funds for the design of Vera Garden and Tbilisi Dendrological Park so that rehabilitation works can start. 

"Vera Park, one of the oldest and most historic recreational areas in the city, needs to be completely renovated. Pre-design research and a detailed project should be prepared for full-scale rehabilitation. It is also necessary to find funds. Dendrological Park is located in the vicinity of the Tbilisi Sea, stretches for about 150 hectares, and here, too, it is possible to arrange a city-level park, where people from all districts will have the opportunity to come and relax. We can arrange picnic areas, entertainment zones. Such large-scale works should be carried out and appropriate funds should be sought as soon as possible, ”the Tbilisi mayor said.

With the help of various international financial institutions, the project work of Vera Park and Tbilisi Dendrological Park will be carried out by the Environmental Protection Service.
