Batumi Nominated as the World's Fastest Growing Tourist Destination
After Europe, Batumi has already been nominated as the world's fastest-growing tourist destination. This time, Batumi will have to compete with the tourist cities of France, Japan, Colombia, Mexico, Laos, Uruguay, Bulgaria, and Northern Ireland to win the prestigious "World Travel Awards" award.
The event, in which hundreds of nominations and thousands of nominees are divided into different categories according to continents and countries, will be held on November 11 in Muscat, the capital of Oman.
At the "World Travel Awards" awards ceremony, the world's best tourist destinations, countries, hotels, travel agencies, tourist attractions, and transport companies will be presented. For information, Batumi won the title of Europe's fastest-growing tourist destination at the "World Travel Awards" this fall, and it was nominated for the first time at the world award ceremony.
"Nomination of Batumi as the world's fastest-growing tourist destination is a very big and important application for our city and country. Presenting Batumi next to the tourist destinations of different continents of the world will further contribute to increasing the awareness of our country and positioning Batumi as a diverse tourist destination. The main tourism players and business representatives from all over the world will gather in Oman at the "World Travel Awards" award ceremony, where we will once again have a chance to mark Batumi on the world map," said Tinatin Zoidze, head of the Adjara Tourism Department.
Batumi will host the European gala ceremony of "World Travel Awards" in 2023.
