50 Villas and Luxury Hotel - Infrastructure Near Tsalka Canyon Expands

120 travelers visited Tsalka Canyon from June 15 until today. As the general director of Kass Group, Ekaterine Tordia, said at "Business Morning", there is interest from many countries of the world, and the canyon received the most visitors from Israel, Saudi Arabia and Russia.

According to Tordia, an indoor water park, up to 50 villas and a 53-room hotel will be built on the territory until 2024.

"The opening received a great response in the world press, and it also brought good results. Very great activity was observed in the first year, 10 thousand tourists and visitors visited Tsalka Canyon, the total number is 120 thousand. Georgians prevailed in the summer with a ratio of 65/35%, and in the fall it became equal. We had the most visitors from Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Russia. Bike zipline and swing that broke all records are very popular. We are going to invest in this direction as well and arrange additional attractions," said Tordia.

As for the future plans, according to her, various projects are planned with an investment of 70 million GEL.

"A 53-room hotel with luxury rooms and conference halls is under construction. We are planning to build an indoor water park and an additional 50 villas. Our location is surrounded by a forest massif, and there we are going to arrange various social spaces, a children's entertainment corner, and walking paths. The additional investment volume will be reach 70 million GEL and by 2024, we have a great desire to offer this listed infrastructure to our guests," she said.

The first ecotourism project - "Kass Land" - was opened on June 14 in Dashbashi village, Tsalka municipality, in the protected area, with the investment of the Israeli company Kass Group. A diamond-shaped cafe-bar is located in the middle of the 240-meter-long glass bridge. The area has a premium quality hotel complex with cottages, as well as a visitor center, restaurant, swimming pool, 1800-meter road to reach the waterfall, camping sites, and other diverse infrastructure.
