124% more Tourists Traveled in Mountainous Adjara

In mountainous Adjara the number of travelers has increased. According to the data of last year, 244, 478 visitors visited Eco and rural tourist attractions in Adjara municipality, which is 124% higher than 2017 data.

In 2018, the largest number of tourists – 104,702 visited Kobuleti municipality, which is 38% more than the 2017 data. Most visitors have visited national parks and tourist attractions while in municipality. The Khelvachauri municipality was distinguished by the percentage increase in travelers. Last year, 112%, 27, 157 visitors traveled to Machakhela and Miravati tourist routes.

+ 31% – Khulo Tourist Routes
+ 26% – Shuakhevi Tourist Routes

Overall, in 2018, 139% more travelers used guest-house services compared with the previous year.
