12 new European Destinations Added from Kutaisi Airport

Wizz Air  will start to operate the fourth and fifth base AIRBUS A 320 type of modern aircrafts in Kutaisi International Airport.

Starting from the end of the year 2019, 7 flights of the European Union will be added, in the direction of: Poznan, Hamburg, Naples, Venice, Pisa, Frankfurt and Baden-Baden, and from the summer of 2020 Kutaisi International Airport has five new directions of European Europe: Stockholm, Nuremberg, Turku, Nice, Heraclion will be added.

Directly regular air traffic in Finland and Sweden has not been completed in Georgia yet.

The agreement was signed by George Chogovadze, the director of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia "United Airports of Georgia (UAG)" and András Selek, Logistics Director of Hungarian low-cost airline "Wizz Air".

In addition to the existing 27 European directions, Europe's fastest growing airline "Wizz Air" adds 12 new flights, besides creating new jobs, it will also play an important role in attracting new tourist flows from EU countries in Georgia", - said George Chogovadze.

The airline Wizz Air started operating in Kutaisi International Airport in 2012.
