Winners Announced for STEM Study Visit to Italy at Tbilisi Technopark Event

Tbilisi Technopark hosted the Italian Innovation and Research Day on April 22, 2024, in collaboration with the Innovation and Technology Agency of Georgia and the Italian Technological Innovation Association, COTEC.

This annual event, supported by the Italian Embassy in Tbilisi and the innovative company INNOVAWAY, marks the significant contributions of Italian inventor Leonardo da Vinci (April 15) and Nobel laureate scientist Rita Levi-Montalcini (April 22).

As part of the festivities, the "STEM Study Visit to Italy" competition was launched for the fifth consecutive year under the action agreement between the Georgian agency and COTEC. The competition aims to foster international collaboration in technology and innovation.

The highlight of the event was the award ceremony for the competition winners. Two successful candidates were selected to participate in a three-month training program at one of Italy’s premier innovation centers and international accelerators, offering them an invaluable opportunity to advance their expertise in STEM fields.
