Viaro Startup Bridges Gap Between Car Part Buyers and Sellers with Innovative App
Viaro, a dynamic startup, is reshaping the landscape for purchasing auto parts with its innovative application, successfully connecting thousands of users to a vast selection of auto components. Shota Tsotsoria, the head of marketing at Viaro, announced that the app has evolved from its precursor, Inventor, in response to growing demand and the need to facilitate easier transactions between buyers and sellers.
The app, compatible with both iOS and Android systems, features over 10 million auto parts requests. Despite minimal expenditure on marketing, the application has garnered significant user engagement, with over 7,000 downloads in the last two months alone and a total of 14,000 unique registered users.
Tsotsoria explains the user-friendly interface of the app: "After a simple registration, users can search for auto parts either through the vehicle’s official catalog or by entering a specific part number directly into the search field, instantly receiving various offers."
Viaro enhances consumer protection by blocking payment amounts during transactions until the delivered parts are verified for quality, ensuring customer satisfaction. Currently, funding is primarily sourced from partner investments, and the transaction model provides sellers with a commission, which remains nominal during the startup phase. This allows customers to purchase products at near wholesale prices.
The application has a global reach, with partnerships including suppliers from Asian and European countries. It particularly benefits those in search of rare parts. "The app is crucial for users looking for hard-to-find auto parts," Tsotsoria adds.
Viaro’s immediate goals include expanding its local supplier network. "We are in talks with approximately 20 companies and aim to include at least 100 local auto parts dealers in the app by year's end. We are also focused on enhancing the app's design and functionality, making it more accessible and user-friendly," says Tsotsoria.
In addition to a robust online service, Viaro provides a proprietary delivery service, offering express delivery within a few hours in Tbilisi, and international delivery times ranging from two to four weeks.
Currently, Viaro employs eight individuals and is actively working to broaden its impact in the auto parts market, both locally and internationally.
