Successful Georgian Startups and Plans for 2020 – Final Meeting for Startups

Organized by Startup Grind Tbilisi, a final meeting was held in Tbilisi on December 19 to discuss the 2019 important startup activities.

The evening was continued by startup event with the support of Google Developers Group, Touch Digital Summit, DevOps Georgia, UG Startup Factory. Georgian startups that attracted investments of more than 1 million GEL took part in the panel discussions.

Speakers of Pulsar AI; Influence Georgia; Biochimpharm; Shelf Network amd Pixelart talked about their experience and analyze the 2019 startup programs and activities that were oriented on development and global expansion. Moreover, the event organizers also talked about the 2020 plans for moving the startup ecosystem to the next phase of development.

More than 4000 persons attended events organized by Startup Grind and its partners. Speakers and delegates arrived from more than 20 countries and Georgia’s popularity increased further. ‘We expect more entrepreneurs, technological startups and investors to attend our events”, the Startup Grin Tbilisi director Collin Donohue said.

Charity campaign was also held during the event jointly with Charter charity platform. Objective of the event is to involve more young persons in the field of technologies and internet. Therefore, incomes from sold tickets will be fully transmitted to Charte that actively works in regions for integration of children from socially vulnerable families in modern life activities.
