Story Behind Plants Macrame - New Startup for Plant Accessories

The newly founded startup, Plants Macrame includes accessories for plans, hooks of different colors, sizes, and designs, pot stands, and decorations. 

CBW had an interview with its founder, Salome Shetekauri.

"I am Salome Shetekauri, art critic and choreographer by profession. The main inspiration for creating such a startup is my love for plants. I have always loved and enjoyed taking care of them. In addition, as a hobby, I was learning the technique of weaving macrame - the art of tying knots in patterns. I decided to connect these two interests and establish a new and interesting startup, in which my family is also involved."

"Since childhood, I have loved to create various items by my own hands. Firstly, I made plant accessories for me and my friends. It deserved a lot of praise, so I thought it would be interesting to turn this hobby into a small startup."

Plants Macrame appeared on the market not long ago, however, the feedback of customers is growing. 

"Challenges are and always will be since we have to work in a quite competitive environment. However, we try to overcome the competition and offer our customers interesting, new and quality products."

The pandemic was one of the reasons why Salome decided to establish such a startup. As for the working process, as she noted, every time they come up with something new, which develops the startup itself.

"Since we see interest from customers and not just in plant accessories, we plan to expand the business and prepare interior and exterior decor with Macrame technology. We also do not exclude opening a store.", declared Salome Shetekauri.
