Impact Hub Tbilisi's startup pre-accelerator is starting with a new format. The 12-week program aims to develop early-stage technology startups and increase their ability to attract investment.
This year, 20 local startups, selected on the basis of preliminary applications, will participate in the pre-accelerator. Early-stage startups that create or build on technologies and have an initial prototype (MVP) or an established action plan for its implementation are eligible to participate.
The pre-accelerator will be held in a hybrid format (online and offline meetings), will last 12 weeks (October - December 2022) and will consist of 5 main components:
- 3 intensive bootcamps (2 outside the city, 1 in Tbilisi);
- Individual meetings with a mentor (1 day per week, 1 hour);
- Networking - P2P meetings, experience sharing, guest speakers, stand-ups;
- Use of co-working space of Impact Hub;
- Demo day - participating startups will present themselves to investors, where they will have the opportunity to obtain investment for the development and expansion of the startup.
The startups participating in the pre-accelerator will deepen their knowledge in several areas: product development and validation, customer segmentation, value proposition, marketing, branding, advertising, sales, Growth Marketing, MVP - technical product creation, business model and finance, Pitch Deck, finding sources of financing.
After completing the program, the startups will have: a business plan, a business model, a financial plan, a communication strategy, a product prototype or a technical plan for its implementation, a Pitch Deck, an investment proposal to seek funding sources.
The startup pre-accelerator was founded in 2021 by the initiative team of Impact Hub Tbilisi, which took a special training course in the leading international acceleration program and, based on the experience gained, established a local pre-acceleration program that responds to the challenges of the local startup ecosystem.
