Socks from Social Enterprise Babale Goes on Sale on Amazon
The socks of the social enterprise "Babale" will be sold on Amazon in the near future.
"Babale's Socks" is a relatively new product of the social enterprise, which is inspired by the works of Georgian artists and national heritage, as well as paintings of teenagers with Down Syndrome. Before the return of tourists and the old work rhythm, the company is preparing to put these socks on Amazon to further enhance the opportunity for people with Down Syndrome to lead independent and dignified lives.
The social enterprise was established in 2015 with an 8,000 GEL grant from the Georgian Center for Strategic Research and Development. Its purpose is to improve the living conditions of people with Down Syndrome or other mental health problems - through their own employment.
"Babale" niche is a practical design and decorative items and accessories of creative design wood, textiles and ceramics.
