Pre-Acceleration Program Organized by GITA Started in Kakheti

Organized by the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency and in cooperation with the University of Business and Technology, the pre-acceleration program in Kakheti is implemented within the framework of the Integrated Pilot Regions Development Program (#SRIP).

Beginner innovators will undergo training in two cities of Kakheti - Telavi and Gurjaani, with the aim of promoting entrepreneurship in the region, forming startup ideas, developing and creating new jobs.

The project will contribute to the development of a regional innovative ecosystem and increase the level of productivity of the economy, increase the capacity for local enterprises to implement innovation and research and development, increase the capacity of small and medium enterprises through the use of innovative products and services and more.

Within the School of Innovation, young people living in the regions of Georgia will form teams around specific ideas, develop their own ideas as the founders in the field of technology startups work, try to validate their ideas in advance, plan prototypes and present a startup idea. In this process, in addition to the above, participants will receive theoretical and practical knowledge from active members of the startup ecosystem, startup founders and experienced ecosystem professionals, which will help to involve these people in the Georgian startup community and the active role of the ecosystem.
