Mourie – Startup with Hot Chocolate Ingredients

A new startup company amid the pandemic – the Kutaisi-based startup has introduced a new product: various mixtures of hot chocolate ingredients. Mourie – this is how we have called this undertaking.

The idea was born 3 months ago, when I wanted to find the similar product as a gift for my friend, but I could not find such a product. Several internet stores and two weeks became necessary to shape a final form of the gift. Admiration by this gift and new tastes discovered amid the experiment inspired us to create mixes of delicious and high-quality hot chocolate. We decided that amid the new realities created by the COVID-19 pandemic the yummy drink made in 5 minutes would an interesting product for customers”, Mourie co-founder Mindia Charkseliani said.

It took several months to refine tastes and finish the branding process. The finished product was introduced to customers in February. Classic, hot, caramel, espresso – four types of hot chocolate mixes. Several new mixes will be introduced in the near future. Products are sold in online stores. The company also provides delivery services. “We have started this business by our own finances, with much enthusiasm and much love. We create a product that does not take much time and effort. It is easy to prepare hot chocolate by adding one ingredient that lifts the spirit and creates a cozy environment. We hope more and more customers will learn about our products and love our products”, Mindia Charkseliani said.

Besides distinct varieties, the company also offers two types of gift boxes created through a combination of tastes.
