Mother of Four Creates Gogora: Company Producing Functional Furniture and Toys
Gogora is a Georgian company producing toys and functional furniture founded by mother of four, Nino Razmadze. She had no prior sales or business management experience, but after starting a business, she knew immediately it was something she wanted to do for the rest of her life.
"Gogora's" wide range of products includes both Georgian folk wooden toys and furniture inspired by the humanistic teaching strategies of Montessori, Pikler, and Waldorf education. The brand's goal is to give kids a healthy, secure, and developing environment while fusing conventional wisdom with cutting-edge methods in the process.
"I sincerely believe that we must prioritize children today if we hope to have a better world tomorrow. Parental mental health is just as significant. We feel that it is our responsibility to assist adults who are concerned about the proper upbringing of children in the process of transforming children into humane, intelligent, and free" - says Nino Razmadze, founder.
"Gogora" is a beneficiary of the Enterprise Georgia export assistance program, focusing on branding. The company's founder has completed the agency's export management course and moreover, "Gogora" recently attended the Spielwarenmesse in Germany on the initiative of Enterprise Georgia. At the exhibition, the company's products drew a lot of attention.
In addition, Nino is planning to open the first energy-efficient and green technology-equipped enterprise in Keda municipality, which is in the mountainous Adjara region. Besides production, it will be a tourist attraction where interested individuals will be able to participate in workshops led by local artisans.
"We believe that production with high social responsibility and international standards is also possible in the mountains of Georgia," says Nino Razmadze, the company's founder.
In order to maximize the company's export potential, "Gogora" intends to finish the negotiations that were started at the Spielwarenmesse.
