Impact Hub Tbilisi is Launching a Startup Pre-Accelerator
Impact Hub Tbilisi is launching a startup pre-accelerator that aims to develop local technology startups and increase their ability to attract investment. About 60 startups participated in the selection competition and based on applications and interviews, 20 teams were selected, which will work on the development of their own startup for the next 12 weeks.
Selected startups:
• Base2 - a mobile puzzle game that helps players learn the basics of programming.
• Cartune - an online platform that facilitates communication between car drivers and craftsmen.
• Carusell - online platform for buying/selling cars.
• DiFlex - a cloud-based contact center software solution that helps organizations use AI to make outbound phone, SMS, IVR campaigns or surveys flexible, organized and cost-effective.
• e-Consul - a digital space for travelers that integrates all travel information and automates the filling of visa applications.
• Edutech - platform for employment of technical talents.
• Georgian Wine Club - a platform that provides complete automation of the wine selection process and on-site delivery of customized products to the customer.
• Happykids - online platform of children's products (marketplace).
• Lopus Electronics - web platform and mobile application for distance learning of electrical engineering.
• MLbee - a web platform, using artificial intelligence, helps companies solve analytical business problems in an automated way.
• Nebula - a platform that uses learning technologies to create training courses for general education subjects. Nebula.ge helps teachers to teach and students to learn.
• RenZ - industrial and agricultural equipment sharing/rental platform.
• SOS Auto - web platform and mobile application for calling an evacuator and auto assistance.
• Sprenty - a platform for online booking of private sports facilities and rental of sports accessories.
• Tao Technology - Machine learning-based web application firewall for small, medium and large businesses.
• Tradetkt - a safe and convenient platform for selling/exchanging tickets for various events and activities.
• Webbix - e-commerce website creation platform for post-Soviet countries.
• Weeba - a digital platform that connects small agricultural entrepreneurs with potential investors and helps them find financing.
• Character - The web platform brings together children's literature on the market and offers parents personalized children's book packages tailored to the age and interests of their children.
The pre-accelerator will be held in a hybrid format (physical and online meetings), will last 12 weeks (October - December 2022), and will consist of 7 main components:
1. 3 intensive bootcamps (2 outside the city, 1 in Tbilisi);
2. Meetings with an individual mentor (1 day per week, 1 hour);
3. Individual online mentoring with experts in the field;
4. Networking - P2P meetings, experience sharing, invited speakers, stand-ups;
5. Special offers for startups
6. Use of co-working space of Impact Hub (according to request);
7. Demo day - participating startups will present themselves to investors, where they will have the opportunity to obtain investment for the development and expansion of the startup.
Startups participating in the pre-accelerator will deepen their knowledge in several areas: product development and validation, customer segmentation, value proposition, marketing, branding, advertising, sales, Growth Marketing, MVP - technical product creation, business model and finance, Pitch Deck, finding funding sources.
After completing the program, the startups will have ready: a business plan, business model, financial plan, communication strategy, product prototype or technical plan for its implementation, Pitch Deck, and investment proposal to seek funding sources.
