Georgian Team Selected for NASA Hackathone’s Final Stage

Georgian team Argonautica has been selected for the final stage of the NASA-organized hackathon “Space Apps Challenge 2020”. The team competes is represented in the category of Orbital Sky.

Argonautica has developed a game of Augmented Reality to expand the visibility of satellites. The game participants are to detect satellites crossing our skies: the team that collects all satellites first selects the name of the next satellite ship. Around 2,200 teams from 150 countries have taken part in the NASA hackathon to tackle the current space challenges.

Georgian Team Argonautica was selected for the final stage together with 40 other international teams. The team members are Giorgi Chanturia, Gigi Butbaia, Mariam Rogava, Giorgi Kvantrishvili, Guri Sichinava, and Giorgi Chilaia. The project is available on პროექტი / Project The global jury will name winners in several days. The selected teams will be invited to NASA.
