Georgian Startup Quantum Server Secures Silicon Valley Funding, Signals Bright Future for Regional Innovation
Future Laboratory Ventures, Georgia’s first licensed venture capital fund, has successfully secured investment from the Silicon Valley-based firm Ellerra Ventures in a seed round for the innovative gaming infrastructure startup Quantum Server.
Quantum Server offers a groundbreaking solution for game developers, enabling them to build server infrastructure and launch multiplayer games within minutes. The platform aims to streamline backend development and eliminate major technical hurdles for developers, particularly in the fast-paced multiplayer gaming space.
Ellerra Ventures, a prominent venture capital firm rooted in the Silicon Valley ecosystem, focuses its investments on projects founded by Stanford University students and alumni. The fund was established by Steven Torres, a lead mentor at the prestigious Stanford StartX accelerator.
“This investment in Quantum Server is a major milestone not just for our startup but also for Georgia’s growing startup ecosystem,” said representatives of Future Laboratory Ventures. “It validates our mission and demonstrates that Georgian startups can compete on the global stage and attract world-class investors.”
Quantum Server is currently based in San Francisco, where it is attending the Game Developers Conference (GDC), one of the gaming industry's most influential international events. The startup is also engaged in high-level meetings with investors and potential partners in Silicon Valley as it prepares for global growth.
