Georgian Startup, Biliki, Ventures into the Baltic Tourism Market

The renowned Georgian travel route platform, Biliki, has officially embarked on its international journey, making its first appearance on the global stage. In the initial phase, the app is set to feature adventure tours across all three Baltic nations - Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.

Baltic Trails, a prominent tourist organization within the Baltic region, has partnered with Biliki for this expansion. Baltic Trails, under whose banner 15 local organizations and firms operate, serves as Biliki's main liaison in the region.

This partnership, formalized through a cooperative agreement, will integrate 176 digitally charted tours spanning a total of 3,560 kilometers into Biliki's offerings. These tours vary in difficulty level - easy, moderate, and challenging - and each is supplemented with comprehensive text descriptions, visual materials, helpful hints, and recommendations.

The objective of this collaborative endeavor is to elevate the visibility of the four countries' tourism resources and routes. Additionally, it seeks to intensify the rapport between the participating countries in the tourism sector, and ultimately attract an increased influx of international tourists to both the Baltic region and Georgia.

Baltic Trails operates with the support of the European Union Hikers Association, an organization within the European Union that champions the growth of sustainable tourism in its associated regions. It also aims to boost the tourist potential of these areas while raising awareness about the region's natural beauty.
