Fifteen New Startups to Pass 500 Startup’s Acceleration Program by GITA Initiative
By the initiative of the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), the world’s top business accelerator 500 Startups will train 15 new startups as part of the acceleration program.
The program is being implemented in two parts and on the whole, 30 startups will pass the acceleration program. A total of 140 applications were submitted from Georgia and various other countries – the USA, Slovakia, Ukraine, India, Latvia, Austria, Great Britain, Poland, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Czech Republic, and so on, while 15 new startups will engage in the second phase of the acceleration program: Agronavti, Arealy, B2C.GE, Citycom, Extra.ge, Kernel, Kvalifika, My Nanny, PAYZE, Simpolium, Trice, Activechat, YouTravel.me, Corebook, Agrolabs.
Eleven Georgian and four foreign startups have applied to the program. The startup acceleration process Online Bootcamp started in the second phase. The process will start up on December 11. The course includes lectures and workshops and personal meetings with mentors. During this period the acceleration participants will be trained in the base and fundamental issues such as the development of products, clients, sales, and so on.
As reported, the global top accelerator 500 Startups entered Georgia by the initiative of GITA and Bank of Georgia. The trilateral agreement was signed on February 20, 2020.
