Ekimo Introduced their Startup at Health Tech Forward

HealthTech Forward is a global conference that brings together digital health startups, medical practitioners, venture capitalists, and other related professions. Its purpose is to determine current trends in medical technologies and actively participate in this process.

It is a gratifying fact that this year, on October 4-5, the conference held in Poland was attended by the Georgian digital health platform ''Ekimo'' which was represented at the event as a sponsor.

"We introduced EKIMO as a product and as a company that provides technical solutions to healthcare service providers. In addition, at the conference, we shared our experience and met very interesting companies with which we have common interests," says Irakli Mirzikashvili, Ekimo General Director.

The conference included various presentations and panels, where potential processes improved by technological solutions were discussed, aiming to create maximum comfort for the patient.

It is important to note that representatives of such global organizations as: Microsoft, HIMMS were invited as speakers at the conference. IPSOS, GmbH, McKinsey, Amazon, Pfizer and other public and private sector representatives.

''Ekimo'' team believes that in the background of similar companies and cases, it is very important for Georgian companies to absorb foreign experiences and transfer them to their own country in order to promote the development and digitalization of healthcare processes in the country as much as possible.

Ekimo is a digital health platform that integrates doctors, laboratories and pharmacies. The user can consult remotely, get an electronic prescription and order the necessary medicines directly from the online pharmacy. Recently, Veterinarian services have also been added to the doctor, allowing pet owners to take care of the health of their four-legged friends remotely.
