BTU Entrepreneurship Center Launches Annual Startup Accelerator Program
BTU’s Entrepreneurship Center is set to initiate its annual three-month accelerator program for nascent startups and entrepreneurs. The program boasts a prize fund of 5,000 GEL and is crafted in collaboration with the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Supported by the Georgian Agency of Innovations and Technologies, the program is open to all interested applicants who can register by filling out an interest form.
Participating startups will gain essential knowledge for startup development and benefit from insights shared by leading Georgian and international experts in the field. They will receive mentorship from founders of successful Georgian startups, aimed at rapidly scaling their ventures. The winning startup will gain entry to the Global Startup Fund’s annual event, providing a platform to connect with angel investors from America, Israel, and Europe.
The program is set to commence in March 2024 and will span three months, encompassing crucial topics such as market analysis, business model canvassing, sales and marketing strategies, pitch training, preparation for global expansion, fundraising, and more.
A Demo Day will mark the culmination of the accelerator, where participating startups will showcase their ventures. BTU students are also encouraged to participate in this enriching program.

- February 1: Announcement of the call for applications, opening a one-month registration window.
- March 1-8: Selection process for participating startups.
- March 11-15: Coordination and communication with selected startups and trainers.
- March 19-May 15: Execution of the acceleration program.
- End of May: Finals of the student startups grant competition.
