Hotel with 72 Suites and Winery to Open at Ilia Lake
Hotel with 72 suites will be built at the Ilia Lake, Kvareli. National Property Agency has sold a 29 962 square meter real state to Wine Road 2017 company for 152 000 GEL as part of “50 Properties for Your Hotel” in 2018.
The hotel design has been finished and the documents are being greed with local municipality. The company plans to obtain due licenses.
Wine Road 2017 founder Omar Khatiashvili told the Commersant that the project consists of two parts and the territory will comprise hotel and winery.
“The design has been finished and it will be approved soon. Construction works will start in September. This complex will differ from all hotels and it will comprise ancient signs, but, at the same time, this will be a modern hotel. The basement gives room to fitness club, massage space and sauna zone.
The outdoor restaurant will hold 400 persons. The hotel building will also comprise a conference room and a space for brand store. The hotel will hold 4 floors.
Winery will be arranged on the basement for production of 3 million bottles a year. The brand name and logo details are beings specified and will be unveiled later. First of all, this is the Kindzmarauli zone and naturally we will produce this variety”, Omar Khatiashvili noted.
Total value of the project is 7 million USD.
