It is co-hosted by the Swiss State Secretariat for International Finance (SIF) and the Global Financial Technology Network (GFTN), an initiative founded by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. The event brings together global leaders from finance, technology, and regulatory fields to shape a shared vision for the development of financial and digital ecosystems.
The NBG delegation was led by Vice Governor Ekaterine Galdava.
As part of the Forum, Varlam Ebanoidze, Head of the Financial and Supervisory Technology Development Department, participated in the panel discussion “The FinTech Ecosystem Playbook.”
Vasil Shengelia, Head of the Open Finance Ecosystem and Financial Innovation Division, took part in the roundtable “Legislation and Setting a Standard of Global Reciprocity.”
The NBG's participation in the Forum highlights Georgia’s growing role in fintech innovation, open finance, and the digital transformation of financial regulation.
Engagement in such international events aligns with NBG’s strategic goal of supporting the development of Georgia’s fintech ecosystem and advancing toward global best practices in regulatory technologies, cross-border data governance, and sustainable finance.
