The Film - Georgia Homeland of Wine to be Presented on International Festival

The Fim "Georgia - Homeland of Wine" is presented on the Films and Photographies International Contest "Oenovideo". The festival is being held annually and this year it will take place o 13-16 June. 37 films are selected in the final round, among which is the Georgian film.

The members of the grand jury are: Catherine Lamour, who is producer and Journalist of "Canal+", film director and producer Emanuel Mouret, Guest of Honor of the Festival Nicolas Bridet.

Every year the festival is held in France, the city Marcel. This year, 144 films were participating in the contest. In the list of nominees are 37 films. The Georgian film "Georgia Homeland of Wine" is devoted to the scientific research, which made a historical discovery and scientifically supported the evidence, that the homeland of wine is Georgia and the winemaking started here 8000 years ago.

Film director of "Georgia Homeland of Wine" is Aleksandre Gabunia. The shootings were taking place in Georgia, USA, Italy, and France. The 40-minute long film is shot on the base of "Cinemania Film Studio" within the framework of National Wine Agency and "Sakpatenti".
