TBILISOBA 2019 to Hold on October 6th

TBILISOBA 2019 is a charity event organized by the Diocese of the Georgian Church in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

You will have a chance to savor delicious Georgian food and wine and purchase Georgian delicatessen, arts, and crafts.

Activities planned for the day also include:
> Georgian dance
> ‘Tbilisian’ songs
> Interactive games for all ages
> Dance masterclass by Georgian Dance Group Pesvebi dancers
> Grape crushing as it’s done in Georgia during a harvest
> Churchkhela making
> Charity auction

The funds raised during the event will be donated to support lonely elderly people and financially vulnerable families in Georgia.

The event will take place in the church garden between 1 to 7 pm, on Sunday, 6th October 2019.

‘‘Tbilisoba’’ is an annual celebration happening in October in the capital city of Georgia Tbilisi. On this day Tbilisi citizens and guests of the capital celebrate harvest festival by bringing local produce from all over Georgia, while holding performances of Georgian traditional dance and music.
