Royal District Theatre will host Collaborator of Peter Brooks, famous scenographer Jean-Guy Lecat tomorrow, on 25th May. Set and Costume designer Jean-Guy Lecat will give Master Classes to students and answer their questions.

Jean-Guy Lecat has worked with such film directors, as Jean-Louis Barrault, Roger Blin and Jean Michel Jarre. He has engaged in more than one hundred Theatre, some of them were “Cartoucherie” and Living Theatre. He contributed his fellowship there not only as a Costume designer and scenograph but also as an actor. He also worked as a stage master and light designer for Jean Vilar, Samuel Beckett, and Luca Ronconi. From 1975 he collaborates with Peter Brook.

Jean-Guy Lecat began his career as a stage design assistant and as an architectural assistant in Paris, thus he has created new theatrical productions across New York, Paris, Strasburg, Barcelona, Prague, Avignon, London, and Lisbon.
