Online Workshop Holds Today on Critical Analysis of Georgian Architecture
Within the frameworks of #TAB2020, the Metaform team organizes an international workshop on "Critical Analysis of Georgian Architecture". The workshop hosts several keynote International speakers to reflect the concept of "Formal Reading" in the discourse of architectural history and theory.
On October 23rd, at 5 PM Tbilisi time, Pier Paolo Tamburelli from Milan will reflect Fischer von Erlach’s Entwurff and “wonders” of the modern world.
The online lecture will be followed by an open discussion, moderated by Metaform Team.

Pier Paolo Tamburelli (1976) studied at the University of Genoa and at the Berlage Institute Rotterdam. In 2004 he founded Baukuh together with Paolo Carpi, Silvia Lupi, Vittorio Pizzigoni, Giacomo Summa, and Andrea Zanderigo. Baukuh won several international competitions and completed, among other projects, the House of Memory in Milan (2015). Current projects include the restoration of the Seminar School in Hoogstraten, the strategic vision for Grand Genève, and the new headquarters of the State Police in Tirana.
Tamburelli taught at TUM Munich, FAUP Porto, Harvard GSD, TU Vienna, UIC Chicago, and he is currently a professor at Milan Politecnico.
Pier Paolo Tamberelli is one of the founders and editors of an Iconic architectural magazine San Rocco, which approaches architecture in an eminently simple way and encourages writing about buildings, drawings, projects, and built or drawn ideas from around the world.
