New Art Space Opened in Tbilisi
"4710" is the name of new art space, which opened in Tbilisi, on Amagleba Street 19 on 27th of September.
Space represents contemporary art gallery, which founders are young curators, Ana Gabelaia and Nini Darchia. Apart from traditional functions of gallery, 4710 will merge the exhibition space, which will aim to seek for the forms of representations, which would be new and fascinating for nowadays Georgian contemporary art scene. This would be accomplished by permanent experiments.
Furthermore, residential program will start working, which will be oriented on foreign artists, whose pieces of work will be identical to visions and points of view of the gallery.
4710 has opened with two exhibitions of young artists, Andria Dolidze and Keta Gavasheli, who work and study in Dusseldorf.
